SPRING league

2025 spring d-league SEASON RECAP

The "D-League" is our oldest and most popular team for college partners looking to hire interns across various fields. For this reason, we offer a different iteration in each season: Winter D-League, Spring D-League, Summer D-League, and Fall D-League. The Spring D-League, in particular, had ~40% of its members advance to Phase 2 in 2025.

We are excited to see the 2025 roster secure internships across various industries in the coming months. This effort builds on the D-League's strong tradition of alumni who have successfully obtained internship offers at prestigious organizations, including BlackRock, the NFL, and Vista Equity Partners.

2025 kraft heinz report card

Over 20 Spring D-League Fellows shared information about their specific fellowship experience with Kraft Heinz. This not only aids them in making future career decisions but also helps raise standards within our League. Our goals were to showcase successful trends, identify areas for improvement, and highlight best practices and standards through our "5C" framework of career, coaching, community, competition, and curriculum.

career

A-

Many fellows believed that their fellowship experience effectively prepared them for various industries, particularly for interviews with companies that offer rotational or management trainee programs valuing cross-functional experience.

coaching

C

Fellows expressed a desire for greater access to Kraft Heinz professionals, especially during the team competition, and stated that they would have benefited from a panel discussion or workshop outlining the various areas of focus within the management trainee program.

community

C

Fellows believe their fellowship experience could be enhanced by connecting with more professionals at Kraft Heinz who have similar backgrounds, such as those who played college sports, attended similar schools, or come from similar communities.

competition

B+

The fellows generally enjoyed their experience rebranding a legacy product from Kraft Heinz. However, since the case study was inspired by a recent collaboration with DJ Mustard, they expressed a desire to hear directly from someone involved in that project or a similar one, as it sparked their interest.

curriculum

A

Fellows expressed their appreciation for the curriculum. Specifically, Phase 2 Fellows highlighted the impactful experience of gaining knowledge in strategy, marketing, finance, risk management, and project management through a single project. They found it valuable to see how these various functions work together.

Grading Scale: A+ (97-100) | A (93-96) | A- (90-92) | B+ (87-89) | B (83-86) | B- (80-82) | C+ (77-79) | C (73-76) | C- (70-72) | D+ (67-69) | D (63-66) | D- (60-62) | F (0-59)

PHASE 1: INDIVIDUAL COMPETITION

All Fellows began their Spring D-League fellowship journeys in Phase 1, known as the "Individual Competition." During this three-week "regular season," they participated in three rounds of mock interviews. These interviews were scored and evaluated by MAP alumni, with the goal of motivating all Fellows to channel their competitive spirit and secure the #1 spot on our Leaderboard Rankings.

Sponsored by Kraft Heinz, the Fellows simulated interviews for the role of "2026 Management Trainee" at the legacy brand. This experience provided insights into Kraft Heinz's unique offerings and taught our athletes how to pursue specific roles at the leading CPG companies in the future.

The 2025 Spring Roster of the D-League is poised to secure competitive internship offers in the coming months, particularly in consulting, consumer packaged goods (CPG), and technology, with many offers typically obtained during the summer and fall seasons.

LEADERBOARD RANKINGS

All Fellows impressed our team during the individual competition; however, the following five athletes distinguished themselves and achieved the highest scores on our leaderboard:

1. Amelia Kristen

2. Cameron Crus

3. Ella Neskora

4. Daniella Henderson

5. Orly Ogilvy

PHASE 2

TEAM COMPETITION
