Launched in 2020, the Make-A-Play Foundation (MAP) is a national nonprofit organization preparing high-achieving college athletes for professional success at leading companies.
MAP is proudly recognized as the "first professional development sports league of its kind," fully gamifying the interview preparation process by intertwining sports themes, references, and experiences to elevate learning and career readiness for 1,500+ college athletes annually.
This innovative approach harnesses our athletes' most distinctive trait—their competitive drive—and transforms it into a powerful tool for achieving professional success at leading companies.
Sports represent the ideal workforce that we at MAP aspire to create; teams made up of individuals from all backgrounds, united in pursuit of a shared goal; each teammate bringing with them a unique perspective and innovative approach to training, strategy, and problem-solving.
Yet, genuine success in sports transcends diversity; it relies on a profound appreciation of the distinct contributions each member brings to a team, from the newest rookie to the most seasoned veteran. Teams that nurture respect and embrace differences as strengths are not only better equipped to navigate complex challenges but also poised to reach their full potential.
This rich tapestry of perspectives often leads to groundbreaking solutions and cutting-edge tactics, granting athletes a significant competitive advantage in the workplace.
