"Formula 1" is a new team for college partners looking to identify top investment banking talent from our freshman (Class of 2028) and sophomore (Class of 2027) classes. All Formula 1 Fellows are part of the finance-revenue business track with a focus on investment banking. During the 2025 Winter League Season, approximately 50% of participants advanced to Phase 2 of the competition.
Additionally, 65% of our Class of 2027 Formula 1 Fellows secured offers for 2026 Summer Analyst positions before the season concluded. This includes four individuals who secured front office offers from Bank of America, the inaugural title sponsor for Formula 1!
All Fellows began their Formula 1 fellowship journeys in Phase 1, known as the "Individual Competition." During this three-week "regular season," they participated in three rounds of mock interviews. These interviews were scored and evaluated by MAP alumni, with the goal of motivating all Fellows to channel their competitive spirit and secure the #1 spot on our Leaderboard Rankings.
Sponsored by Bank of America, the Fellows simulated interviews for the role of "2026 Summer Investment Banking Analyst" at the bank. This experience provided insights into Bank of America's unique offerings and taught our athletes how to pursue specific roles at BofA in the future.
Several second-year Formula 1 Fellows (Class of 2027) successfully used this preparation to secure 2026 Summer Analyst offers in Investment Banking, including three of our Fellows featured above, who accepted Summer 2026 offers from Bank of America, demonstrating the program's effectiveness.
All Fellows impressed our team during the individual competition; however, the following five athletes distinguished themselves and achieved the highest scores on our leaderboard:
1. Julia Leary
2. Anikwe Duru
3. Mira Martin
4. Maggie Qi
5. Gracie Butler
