D-LEAGUE


MAP'S DEVELOPMENT (D-LEAGUE) IS...

A comprehensive 12-month program designed to help high achieving student-athletes enhance and sharpen their quantitative and qualitative skills for future executive careers. Our Fellows meet virtually with their Head Coaches and six-person teams once a month to develop competencies in problem-solving, management, interpersonal communication, leadership and innovation, sales, and conflict resolution. Fellows benefit from:


  • 2:1  student—coach ratio
  • Assigned mentors for each D-League Fellow 
  • Ongoing, one-on-one sessions with MAP coaches and colleagues 
  • Sustainable strategies and tools for professional growth and development
  • A network of peers representing various schools across the country
  • Personalized assessments with actionable steps to help MAP Fellows advance toward executive careers in competitive industries
  • Intensive quantitative and qualitative skills training,  rigorous practice, and real-world business simulations in a supportive, yet challenging, environment


If you’re interested in becoming a MAP Fellow, click here to request an application. Participants must be student-athletes pursuing a Bachelor of Science or Arts at an accredited college or university, be in good academic standing, and be available to participate in monthly meetings via zoom.

PARTICIPANTS WILL...

  • Add professional work experience to their resume as MAP Fellows. 


  • Learn how to quantify their athletic experience as a professional skill and build several resume templates for different industries. 


  • Acquire technical skills and proficiency with the STAR Method, written communication(s), Microsoft Excel, and more. 


  • Network and complete projects with other like-minded student-athletes at different universities.
